I got mine FREE!

I've noticed that many people refer to items in their version of the 300 that they paid for. I have a brand new 300C that I just bought in July 2006.

Though the Chrysler website shows some of these items as coming stock (included) on the 300C, I found many dealers charging for these items on the vehicle's window sticker ... I got the following but didn't pay "extra" for them:

Power Adjustable Pedals
Sirius 1 year of service
Smokers Group

If you go to http://www-5.chrysler.com/vehsuite/VehicleCompare.jsp and open all of the drop down lists, you may find that you paid extra for an item that's listed as coming stock on the vehicle.

What did you get for free?
OR
What did you pay for that was SUPPOSE to be included?

I thought that stuff was standard on the C. It was on mine at least.

Might have been a mid-year (or possibly '06 as a whole) change in line up. Manufacturers OFTEN change packages, etc. throughout the year.

None of the three items you mentioned is standard on the "C". They are all options; IF however you get the optional Sirius Sattellite radio (an extra cost option) then you get one year of service included.

Now my statement applies to '05 and early '06 models. They may have made changes to standard equipment that I'm not aware of, as jjs said - - but in that event those items would be listed on left side of the Monroney label (window sticker) as "included" or "standard". Optional equipment is always clearly listed on the right side of the label and the cost of that option will be listed as well. Don't confuse the official window sticker (which is required to be given to you with the car) with some dealer's "second sticker" where they can add any markup that they want and hope someone is dumb enough to pay it.

The last 06s built had these to clear them from inventory faster, I think.

You're right, they are included. They definitely were options when I bought my previous 5.7 long ago. Good deal.

Ah, so that's what it was

*shrug* I don't have sirius (honestly didn't want that antenna on the top of the car), or adjustable pedals - considering the price $150-ish per option was dang cheap (it pays for the year of sirius alone), I just didn't feel like I wanted those options

An XM (or sirius) subscription + the default 300's sirius box + an adaptor + a sigma antenna possibly mounted on the rear window (shoot even the front), would be worth the extra $$ to me hehe.
