rain sense wipers and headlight question

I have the rain sense wipers set to on and lights on w/ wipers set to on. I have found that if it rains the wipers and lights turn on as expected but I have found if it stops raining wipers stop but the headlights remain on unless I either turn the car off or turn the winshield wipers from sensitivity adj position to the the off position. Is this normal? I would of thought it would turn the lights off automatically after the wipers have been off for a certain amount of time.

Same here,
That’s how I use daylight running lights.
Push the washer button a couple times and I have headlights.
I don’t mind it’s doing that!

Thanks, just wanted to make sure it was normal and didn't require a trip to the local 5 star.

Mine turn off after the wipers stop. There is a delay, but they definitely don’t stay on all the time after the wipers stop. During the rainy season you can drive through numerous little showers down here and my wipers and lights usually go on/off many times as I pass through showers.

I wonder if they changed something to prevent the on/off in the small showers or maybe theres a problem with my car. Anybody else know how there lights react with the rain sense wipers?

like 'em

mine work just like Danno's. Turn on and off with a noticeable delay.

Overall, a great system and one of the real surprises.

Question for you folks since you seem to have this figured out. My lights don't always come on when the wipers are on. The lights do come on sometimes when it's raining and the wipers are moving, but not always. The dealer is clueless. Anyone heard of this one?
