recalibrate for 22" wheels

I bought my 2005 300C about a month ago with 30,000 on it. Runs great.

I put 22" wheels on it, and on average I get about 11mpg. Does something have to be done with the computer when you put 22s on, so you get the right reading with the MPG? or am I just getting bad gas mileage? I used a really good fuel system cleaner when I first got it. Maybe I just need to reset the ECU. What is the best way to do that? Disconnect the battery?

Now you’re in my Ram SRT10 hauling azzz mpg zone. So if that is what you’re really getting then you may as well go for a gas chugger SRT10 and live it up!

Avoid disconnecting the battery, that results in several reset procedures. It's hard to comment on your mpg without knowing a lot more.

First thing I would do is set the cruise in the range of 50 to 70 mph. After that, reset your mpg reading. In a very short time, your mpg should be in the 23-26 range if your MDS is working.

If you only get 17-19 with the cruise set as mentioned above, you MDS needs to be reset.
