I would like to ask for your thoughts and Prayers for IndyCoder. He is one of the original members. This last weekend at the Mopar Nationals he was riding around on a gas powered stand up Scooter with my cousin. They seperated for a few minutes and Phil (Indycoder) was going kind of fast, maybe 5-6 mph, and he bumped into a woman which threw him straight out in an arc over about 6 feet and he landed on his face. He wasn't breathing for a few minutes. His injuries were so severe that he had to life flighted to Grant Trama Centers hospital and they were not even sure he would make it. He is there on life support and in an induced coma, but in stable but critical condition. I would ask that you please pray for him and his family.

The woman was ok, but was knocked down by the impact. She actually was acting pissy even after the Ambulance arrived. I had several people run over to our booth to let us know what was going on.
Phil actually located and put me in touch with the dealer I bought my 2005 SRT-8 from and even meet me at the Dealership when it arrived. He was developing our website as well. He is a great guy and his accident was a real shock and an eye opener. One minute your cruising around the Mopar Nationals, having a blast, laughing it up with friends, looking forward to a great weekend of cars, races and hanging with your pals and the next you have no idea what hit you.
Cherish every moment, cause life can change in an instant. Be safe out there my friends, hug your family, call your parent(s) and tell someone close that you care about, just how much they mean to you, because you never know.
At this point we don't know if Phil will come out of the coma or what condition he will be in mentaly or otherwise if he does. He is being held alive by Life Support, so although he is stable, he is not out of this yet. Again, please keep him in you thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely,
Jeremy Steinman (aka: XCITsNU)

Thank you Jeremy, I remember IC as well, and I read about his accident at another site, so he has already been in my thoughts and prayers. It would be great if you would post updates when possible, and I will do the same if I come across anything elsewhere.
Wow, amazing how much damage can occur at such a low speed. I don't really know the guy, but a friend in need is a friend indeed. My prayers are with you Phil.
