5.7 Hemi Cylinder Misfire

Hello Everyone, this is my first post, though I've used the forum for a while.
I bought my 06 300c AWD with the 5.7 last summer with 128k on it and at 136k this is my first issue I've ever had. My problem is with a misfire on cylinder 6. I was driving home from drill and out of the blue my check engine light came on, and the car started to idle rough. It wasn't smoking or making any unusual noises (clanging or ticking), and when I accelerated from a stop it would rev to 4 grand and wouldn't shift unless I lifted my foot off the throttle. The rough idle would go away as I gained speed but the light stayed on. I managed to limp it home and eventually to my father's shop, where we checked the code. I forget the number but it was a cylinder 6 misfire. We tried changing the coil packs, replaced the plugs, and ran a compression test that showed we had no compression. After putting everything back together it started smoking. Then we pulled off the valve cover and watched the valve springs as someone tried to turn the key slowly. all the valve springs moved except the inner valve on cylinder 6 (I believe its the intake valve). So we replaced the Multi-Displacement Solenoid and put everything back together. It stopped smoking but is still misfiring. And the tranny situation hasn't changed. Me, my father, and the other mechanics are at a complete loss, does anyone have a clue?
