North Texas M&G #2 - Denton Dragway (9/29/06)

Alright guys,

I said I'd get something up, and here it is.

At the end of this will probably be a great time to get back together and hit the track again, the temps ought to have come down some by then. The 29th of September falls on a Friday, and I've already checked the schedule on www.dentondragway.com to make sure they are running that night.

Once again they open at 7:00 pm and I plan on getting there right around that time. Cost is $15 to race/$10 to watch.

Last time out, we were graced by the likes of Karh4ck3r, rander, chargerOsix, arfur, and of course myself. Now that we have a couple weeks of planning, I expect more people to make it out this time

I was thinking this time that we could all maybe hit an IHOP or something once were done, or maybe just have a secondary meetup with the guys that aren't able to get to the track or would rather not pay to meetup.

Let me know if this day will work out for you guys and if we'd like to try to have a pre-get together get together and all cruise to the track together.

Post up additional ideas if you've got 'em. :rockon:

My car is stock as far as performance goes, so I'd be up for a secondary meet somewhere other than the track. I think in the past they had met up at a place in Frisco, but I can't remember where because it was before I had my 300c.

We're going to try to get a pre-meet up in denton around 6:00pm and then cruise to the track at around 7:30.

I think I'll try to get a Frisco meetup scheduled sometime soon as well.

You would be welcome to come out to the track with us as well too as there are going to be a few other people there that won't be racing either.

Where abouts in DFW are you located?

You guys get a cheap deal than us Aussies at events called "Off Street Drags" at our Melbourne venue, Calder Park. They charge $50.00 to run your car and $10.00 for spectators. Bit of a rip-off.

Yeah I still plan on making it. I think I'll just be a watcher for now, but I'm on my way to getting the gear and balls to hit the track!!!!
