LOL nice.

GTOs are pretty powerful too... but just as HEAVY. 400hp vs 425hp and both weighing about the same. I'm sure if the Jeep got a better launch it would had been even more embarrasing for the GTO.

Hehe,just found that thread on the GTO forum,they are all on a very long river in Egypt!I find it amazing that even when filmed the excuses fly as to the loss.Just face the fact that these vehicles are so evenly matched it can go either way almost every time.

str8.ght acceleration...great link! It is alway good to see what the competition is doing. I also agree that they make a very good match...

half of them are convinced they are faster and half of us will think the same.

It will all come down to the driver and the mods.

I agree as we have been down this stretch of road before with them and the Caddy boys & girls. Great Video and a pleasure to see one of our brothers make us proud…..way to go SRT8 GC!!

That is just to funny, now that I have the SRT I am always on the hunt for any and all GTO's.. My Mag R/T was fast, but the 6.0 GTO could pretty much take it anytime..but the SRT is a different story

it looked close to me, probably pretty evenly matched, GC driver just got a better jump at the start and being an autostick probably saved a few microseconds vs the clutch shifting GTO,

just a driver race IMO... not a "kill"
