Oil @ $40 A Barrel Soon? Already @ $55

Here is an article that pretty much spells out what we are currently seeing. This must be playing havoc with the car manufactures... Just when the re-tool, things change.

I'm pretty happy with the prices right now. I just paid $2.19 / gallon in Southern Virginia off of I-95. Regular gas was under $2 bucks. Haven't seen that in a while. Of course, when I get back to No. VA, the price goes up about .25 / gallon!

Making me look bad, I predicted $90-110 a while back, glad I was wrong.

You'll be right. Just wait until after the elections!

I was afraid someone would say that, I remember watching Moneyline in the early '90s when oil was in the high teens

I got 89 for $2.03 on my way up to Indiana on the west side of Columbus. What's sad is, that we think that's low. I remember in High School filling up for 72 cents a gallon... and I'm only 25! I hope it comes back down to the $1.50 range, and soon.

I've even got you beat. I remember back around 1970 when I used to fill up my Impala with a 25 gallon tank. When near empty, I could fill it up, give the attendant, (remember them), five bucks and still get change. Gas was .19.

I'd hate to be ford and GM if gas prices do keep dropping.
Neah, Ford will love it. It'll mean an uptick in big truck sales = their cash cow.
