Talking Europe and the US

What are the major differences between United States and European 300c's?
We dont have all the versions you have and I know about folding mirrors but is there more, and more importantly why.....

Is it because we pay much more for fuel!!!! currently 84.5p a litre

Not sure if you knew: the U.S. base (2.7L) and Touring (3.5L) versions have different fascia, headlights, and rear lights. The rear lights have the brake light and turn signal on the same red bulb, no amber in the rear. The base and some Touring (in Canada) have cloth seats. These versions do not have EVIC. And for some reason, Chrysler saved 10 bucks by not putting in the trunklid liner. It's bare metal, with the plastic pulldown insert handle. By having more affordable models, they can sell more 300s in the U.S., by selling more 300s, they can keep the cost of even the higher models down. One of the reasons why Euro models are more expensive: less cars made in the Austrian plant and lower sales volumes overall. Well at least your cars will be more exclusive! I believe that in the European cars, they've kept the interior trim levels practically the same on all cars on parallel with trim level of 300C in NA, with a few differences for the SRT8. That's not only to justify the higher prices all around, but also to keep inventory/manufacturing costs down. On the other hand, in the North American cars the cheaper models are de-contented. The Heritage model has both interior and exterior trim upgrades over the 300C. And of course AWD is offered on Touring and 300C. Other major differences: the European Touring wagon is the Dodge Magnum over here, and you don't have the Dodge Charger, which is meaner and more 'youthful' looking IMO.

List of standard features on the 300C CRD and 3.5L versions in the UK, that are not standard in the North Am. base and Touring models.
- Driver's seat, door mirror and radio memory
- Electronic vehicle information centre
- Rain sensitive windscreen wipers
- Rear park assist
- Side curtain airbags (available in Protection group option)
- Xenon headlamps
- Chrome covered door mirrors
- Chrome features on front and rear bumpers
- Electronically operated and heated door mirrors (power on base, not heated)
- Tortoise shell or wood steering wheel trim (all leather on Base & Touring) and door pull trim (plain plastic on Base & Touring)
- Cheapest radio, no LCD display, but with aux. input (other radios available as options)
- Automatic headlights : i'm not sure about this are they standard on your car? Do you have the light sensor in the middle of your dash, and an A on your light switch?

On the other hand we have one piece of equipment I heard is not standard on some of the overseas models: Inside Emergency Trunklid Release. As I understand it, you teach your kids not to play in the trunk so this was considered unnecessary.

There is a model called Great American, with a 2.7L engine but with more options than the Base like upgraded aluminum wheels, 6 CD radio and side airbags.
And Touring Signature and Limited - with 3.5L engines, but installed options like heated front seats, automatic headlights, dual zone AC, Sirius sat radio, auto dimming rear view mirror. I think the Limited would be the equivalent of the 3.5L and 3.0 CRD models in the UK.
In the UK, SRT8 available only in Brilliant black? In North Am, also in Steel Blue, Inferno Red, & Bright Silver Metallic

in germany/switzerland/austria the lefthanddrive hemi and 3,5L are available as AWD as well... only the CRD is RWD only here...

another nice "export only" gadget is the autoleveling headlights
