Do we get a mention on the EVIC when the washer fluid is low?

never let mine get low enough to find out. I usually just top it off whenever I check the oil or when I wash the car and have the hood up anyway.

Yes the EVIC will chime and tell you washer fluid low. During the time it took me to do the washer nozzle delete, on the hood, and move the washer nozzles to my wiper arms. I never filled up my washer fluid resv. In time I guess it evaporated below the sensor mark and set off a chime. I had the car in for service last week. They filled it up and no more chime.

Unfortunately with the wall of bugs you sometimes encounter down here you have to use the washer system. The EVIC will let you know when low/empty. In fact it usually gives me a start as it has a delay. It doesn’t remind you as soon as you start it up, but it waits a bit. Then you think oh crap what’s wrong…oh it’s just the washer fluid low. Then you relax.
