Angry Car Alarm Help!!!!

Well thismorning some little terd took something sharp and ripped my Chrysler Logo and 300C logo off the trunk of my car. paint is messed up and well it just looks like crap.

Besides having to deal with that are we able to set our alarms so they trip with less work if some ass clown does more to my car?

Now that really sucks!! I’m sorry someone vandalized your beautiful ride. I’m not aware of being able to change the sensitivity of the OEM alarm. Below is a thread that contains a bunch of links about after market alarms. Hope it helps.

I need an alarm...

Thank you for the link, sad to say but these people really do not know what they are doing and if caught doing it again, they will see something they are not ready to see.

Abhunter,
I am so sorry to see your beautiful 300c damaged like that, and all over cheap badges. I don't think the person involved wanted them as much as wanting to bring damage upon your car. I take it you have to park it outside your home so my guess would be it's someone who lives in the neighborhood.

Removing the badges is one thing; damaged the paint to do so is incredibly malicious. I hope you find a good paint shop in your area to take care of you as well as a guard dog to post around your vehicle.

Let us know what happens with the repairs and if you discover who the culprit is. This might not seem like much but you should definitely file a police report so that a record can be started on vandalism in your area. It could pay off in the long run.

Good luck.

Police report done and progressive is done. Tuesday the car will get the final look at before the work starts.

Now as for that car flame thrower, I am a person who not only wants it, but have done other things to my cars in the past to stop people from touching my car. That is a great unit and is nice since I do not need to do the reach out and touch someone from the window of my house. I am sure I will be able to come up with something that will stop they punk kids from doing this stuff around here. Can't go into details.

Removing emblems and molding appropriately is not difficult and will not cause paint damage or scratches. The residual you see in Abhunter's photos is from incomplete removal of 3-M double stick tape. It's obvious the person responsible used something sharp to try and pry the emblems off (maybe a knife of some sort) that ultimately caused the paint scratches and left most of the tape still on the finish.
