2007 Calendar Contest - ONE entry per member

Last year a contest was proposed to create a 300Cforums calendar. Although it got off to a great start, it eventually fizzled out.

As the new year is rapidly approaching, I think it would be a great idea to resurrect this project. The calendar would feature one car for each of the 12 months of the year and a 13th for the outside cover. It would be made available for purchase, in three sizes, at the Cafepress store and I would like to make this a yearly event.

Calendar sizes are as follows:

1. Oversized Wall Calendar - 17 x 11 inches, cover image and all months 17 x 11 inches
2. Vertical Wall Calendar - 11 x 17 inches, cover image 11 x 17, months 11.5 x 11.5 inches
3. Wall Calendar - 11 x 8.5 inches, cover image 11 x 8.5, months 11 x 8.5 inches

It will take time to put all the photos together after judging and get the calendars printed before the holidays, so this contest will be a short run!

Interested members will need to submit one high resolution photo of their ride in this thread no later than 8 PM Eastern, November 27, 2006. - NO exceptions!

Images must be hi res with a preferred 150-200 dpi.

**NOTE: Members that submit more than one photo will automatically disqualify themselves as we don't want to be responsible for choosing which photo gets judged.

Contest Guidelines
1. Please limit responses here to PHOTO Submissions ONLY - The only comments allowed are year, model and colour. NO other Comments PLEASE!

2. Each qualified submission will be accepted for judging by impartial members of this board, yet to be appointed - Judges may not enter the contest.

3. Photographic creativity is every bit as important, as the actual car itself. Members are encouraged to enter, no matter which model you have or whether your car is stock OR modded.

4. If your car is judged as a finalist, your user name and a small 300Cforums logo will be added at the bottom centre of the photo in the calendar.

5. I will contact each winner by PM, to provide an e-mail address for forwarding the full-size photo.

**NOTE: Finalists will need to email the photo immediately - finalists who do not email their entry within 24 hours of notice will lose their spot to the next runner-up so as not to delay the project**

6. Submissions of photos in this thread implies consent to the use of your photo if selected.

I appreciate your input, but I'd like to keep this thread as uncluttered as possible and limit it to only image submissions. I agree with you though!

Where's your submission? This is open to ALL members. What a keepsake this would be if chosen. I plan to order one regardless even though my car won't be in it.
