ok.. so I think my 300c got me a job......

Had an interview today, 2 1/2 hours.... CIO was really nice guy... toward the end of the interview he wanted to know a little about me and my personal life.. kind of a get to know you thing.... he asked me about my hobbies and I mentioned modding my car...

he asked what kind of car... I said 300C... he replied "that's what I drive...what color?" I said Black, he said, "mine is jade green...... so when can you start?"

I start Thursday $8000 a year more than my last position...

one more reason to love my 300.................

Great story! Congratulation on your new job and huge salary adjustment! See, it was only a matter of time for good things to fall your way. I love the story about your cars but somehow believe it was your skills, experience, and character that help land your new career!

Wishing you the very best!

me too, but I think the common ground about the 300 was the push I needed... cause the conversation then steered toward what mods I could help him with....

All things happen for a reason including your recent job loss. So now it has been replaced with something even better. Way to go and Congratulations!! Whatever it takes to make you that much better or to set you apart from the competition will do the trick…so there is nothing wrong with a little 300C commonality with the boss. Just the icing on the cake.

Funny! I too had a 300C connection on a job interview I was just on.

I was talking with the general manager and he asked me if that was my car with the WV plates - knowing it was. I said yes and he asked me if I was going to start "pimping" it out I said nah, just a couple plans. Then he goes on to tell me a story about how he was with his dad when they first came out and tried to get a deal on a 300C but the dealer wouldn't budge so they ended up walking away. We talked cars then for a bit...

I ended up getting the job and am moving around Christmas time!

Congrats Mr. Incredible...movin' on up in the world!

The 300C - more than just a car

Eric
