I would delay your order and get the '08, you'll be darn glad you did come fall. Spy pics have shown some very slight changes to the rear, not sure about the front other than an Argent/Chrome grille on some models. No interior shots have surfaced yet, but it probably won't be too long before they do. It's possible they may show some 2008 LX models at the NY auto show next week but I have not been able to confirm that. They may wait until June to unveil the 300 series.

There are definitely changes/improvements for the '08 300C as you have probably seen on my list - LED lighting, the new touch-screen nav, adaptive cruise control, the rear camera, remote start integrated into the key fob, Smartbeam headlamps and a 368-watt 5:1 surround audio system.

All of these new features, combined with the fact that it's near the end of the '07 model year make it more than worthwhile to wait, in my opinion. And being the 4th model year in its generation a lot of the bugs will have been worked out.

Thanks for the good advice...it would certainly make good practical and economic sense to wait for the 2008 year build model.

I was unsure wether to go ahead with my order for a 2007 crd, but could I wait until Oct then start thinking is it worth waiting until Jan 2008 as it would be worth more being registered as a 2008 than a 2007? then start thinking shall I wait until march 2008 because the 08 plate could make it worth more than a 73 plate etc etc. So I went ahead and glad I am enjoying it now than next year.

I think your mule is getting way ahead of you, no chance of seeing Imperials that soon!

It's a Mopar kit option for 2007; 2008 models will get the factory installed version with integrated key fob.

There is a sensor on the front of the car that detects headlights from an approaching vehicle. When your high beams are on and the smartbeam is active (it is an on/off option via the dashboard computer cluster) the car automatically lowers the high beams to avoid blinding the other driver and re-adjusts them after the other car passes. In theory sounds pretty cool but where I like I do 99% city driving and have almost no use for the high beams, but kinda cool anyhow and probably very useful for people that do lots of unlit highway driving.
