Low Beam headlight

Last week My passenger side low beam headlight went out. I thought it was a faulty bulb. I replaced it. I have the high intensity bulbs that cost $289.00. I replaced the bulb and it still does not come on. Does anyone know what could be wrong ?

I'm guessing the ballast is bad. That is the thing that fires up the light. If it is the ballast, it should be covered under the original bumper to bumper warranty or an extended warranty if you have one. I would take that bulb you purchased back for a refund since that obviously isn't the problem and have the dealer check out the problem.

Welcome to the forums thedealforreal. Sorry you’re having headlight problems. It does sound like the ballast has gone bad. I would take it back to the dealership and try and get warranty work done on it….if you still have warranty. Good luck and keep us updated on your progress.
