Any body changes on the 300C besides losing the antenna. Do all the models still have the built in sort of spoiler?

Hi, newbee poster here, so please forgive me... It appears from the previous posts, SRT Design is gone in '09. Like Ricardo, I believe it is a shame, since the package was tailored to those wanting SRT8 elements without the premium gas requirement, ability to get the lifetime warranty, and MDS. So, is it really and truly confirmed no SRT Design (aka SD in other posts) is out or was that speculation?

The SRTD would be a bit redundant if they made the heritage more like the SRTD is now.

I always thought the heritage was a bit silly, if you read any articles about the original 300s, they were sporty cars, the vast amount of wood never really fit with the theme. Rather, the original 300s had tons of chrome, and quirky plastic accents (hey that's what the tortoise shell is!)

If you ask me the 'heritage' edition should be the SRT8

I do not know what Heritage includes for 2009, but I can tell that SRTD drives so much nicer than regular C. It actually reminds me the feeling I had when driving CTS which everyone knows has much better handling manners than C. I would not want to go to regular C ever now.

I also like SRT interior carbon fiber theme. I am somewhat got tired of walnut accents over years of having them. Tortoise shell is definite no. It does not look real, but rather odd.

I just compared the 08C with my 07C and the difference was more fluff inside the car (visual looks) and the crazy fishtail antenna. If the 09's have yet more fluff and VVT they should be tremendous vehicles, especially if they get rid of the fishtail.

i guess i'm torn on this one...

i understand people wanting the SRT look without the premium price and all the drawbacks of an SRT...

but,

i also understand many SRT owner's feelings towards this... and that it is a "wanna-be" SRT, sort of like an SRT pretender. i'm sure the SRT engineers agree as well... they put a lot of work into upgrading their models to SRT level, and it is almost a slap in the face that they just give them the "look" of one...

gonna make it easier to determine what's a real SRT and what isn't...

OK Mr moderator since Resume speed and others have full details on the 2009 MY can you start a sticky for the 2010 model year.

Here is a little tidbit about my 2010 MY It will be chrysler's full attempt to bring the company in the black or close to it What is music to my ears is a full redesign with a twomode hemi hybrid 300c and a new 6.4 liter srt8 line up the hemi hybrid will be the first affordable 400 hp v8 hemi with a 22 city 28 hwy mpg and great interior. the SRT8 will have 500hp but numbers will be even more limited. due to challenger and some new model thats info havent been revealled but it will come from the same factory. SRT will have optional 6 speed manual. I got my info from my usual connect. Resume Speed if you have news to deter this info please correct me as i trust your info ,even though in the pass most infomation has been right on PAR with your insight. But all you people dont give up on chrysler give them a year a turnaround is coming.
