Question Is it just me?

Dude...?

Is it just me, or is the car a magnet for idiot drivers who either can't stay in their lane or try desperately to cut you off. I noticed myself driving tentatively, but it's gotten to be so bad that I can't even relax.

Are they too busy staring?

Also does anybody have a fix or solution for scratches in the month old paint.

300PMP, I too had a ton of scratches from general road crap flinging around.. my sweet but idiotic neighbor accidentally grinding her purse across the front door while getting into her car in the lot etc. etc. This weekend I took it to a hand wash place that also does detailing and they buffed out the scratches and hand waxed it for $100. ALL the scratches are gone, no swirls or weird crap, it looks as good or better than new!

staring...

It does seem like you have some sort of invisible, irresistable magnetic force field around you, but after driving street rods for 20-something years I guess I've gotten used to it. In really heavy traffic it just seems easier to stay in the far right or left lane so you only have to defend one side.... I, of course, prefer the far left lane zzzzoooooooommmmmm!

LOL. Wes, I love your ride, so I shouldn't say this . . . but . . . the first time I saw a pic, I couldn't help thinking, "in sunny Daytona Beach, instead of wearing a raincoat, this is what a well-heeled flasher would drive!"

I'm always driving too agressively for them to come near. If they want to swerve into me they need to try and keep up first.

300PMP, I think your problem is the idiots on the beltway ...LOL. You might try the wax and polish thread for scratch solutions, I use GS27 very lightly with great results though I have never tried it on a black car. Zaino IMHO is the end all polish/wax but even it won't prevent scratches. Have you thought about 3M Clear Bra for the front end.

I noticed this during my 24 hour test drive. This is one of the reasons I have not purchased mine yet. Ahhh who am I kidding, if I had the downpayment I would have it yesterday. I am waiting patiently though.
