I think I have a limiter of 171. My car stayed in 4th gear at 170/171, and went up and down but didn't downshift. I manually went to 5th gear and it wavered between 170/171 without going any faster. I felt the car was holding back. My car was built June '06 and it's a SRT8 '07 model. Any thoughts? Any help appreciated. I want to remove this limiter if possible. I believe 180 is reachable. Intake and exhaust mods on the SRT8.

HELP

I fell you pain. I experience that dreaded governor numerous times. If I'm not mistaken B&G can raise the stock governor but not remove it though .
