Aston Martin DB9

Went to the bank to deposit a check today... and a brand new Aston Martin DB9 pulled up right next to me with paper plates. I said "Wow... nice car man." He smiled and said, "You too, is that a SRT?" I said, "No I wish... I have the 5.7 liter HEMI, wanna race anyways?" He just laughed and opened the door to the bank for me.

Usually I would've been pissed that someone parked next to me, but I kinda figured he wasn't gonna ding my doors I felt embarrassed that my car was so f'n dirty though.

What a sweet freaking car that was. I was gonna wait and see if he'd let me take a closer look but he was in the office with a loan officer, no doubt discussing the $192,000 he just spent on the car. Impressive numbers though, V12 450hp and 420 fl/lb of torque. 0-62 in 4.9 and a top speed of 186mph. He should've went with the SRT 8 and saved $142,000 No doubt that'd be a pretty decent race for an SRT, I'm sure he would've blown my doors off.

I'm still drooling... I'll post a pic I took with my cell phone later.

Daugherty,
Yeah, I think Aston's current designs are some of the most beautiful on the planet. I saw a DB9 a month ago turn in front of me and nearly wet my pants...
I really like what Ford has done with Aston Martin. I understand the brand is now up for sale to help Ford with their financial woes.

How about a GROUP BUY?

They really are gorgeous cars with a hefty price tag. I see a few here and there running around. All the ones I’ve seen all have blue haired ladies driving them…..and not very fast either. I should think they would look much better behind the wheel of a Lincoln Town car.

I love Aston Martins. Saw a grey V8 Vantage at the LA Auto show. That was one sexy car! One of the best cars at the show. Not as nice as the Maybach Exelero though. I've only seen 2 or 3 Aston Martins driving in the streets. Pretty rare cars. That reminds me, I saw A Bugatti Veyron on the freeway a month or so ago. The specs for that car: 16-cylinder, 1001HP, 0-60: 2.3, 1/4 mile: 10.8. Price at $1,400,000+.

Db9

a KID at my soccer adademy drives a DB9. His dad's company (he is the CEO) developed the power surger thingy that goes in power strips!
Those DB9's are fast!! I had the liberty of doing a little drive with him while we were doing some "fast starts" against my other buddy who has a GT Coupe. Was pretty insaine....both kids are 18....i am 21 so i cant speak that much on the subject, but teenagers shouldnt be able to drive 100,000$ cars.... to easy to be stupid!
