Welcome to the forum . Check out the options in my signature . Last ran 12.7 at 109mph w/ ****ty traction .I'm hoping drag radials get me into the real low 12's N/A . Your location ? Temp and D/A have everything to do with it . Feel free to PM me for any specifics .Not an expert by any means..but learned from the good folks on here and at the track . Take care , Mike .

Just looked at your member number and join date...you should be welcoming me..LOL !!

I have run a best of 13.19 - Bone Stock - for high 12s all you need are Drag Radials since the stock tires don't provide enough traction to come out of the hole hard.

With an SRT8, for high 12's you should need a good reaction time, cold day, good traction (good track prep, DR's, wide street tires - your choice), intake and exhaust, and no headwind.

I hit 13.3 with intake and exhaust, stock RSAs, crappy traction/60', only OK reaction time, and a headwind.

Next time I'll have the drag radials on...

Common misconception. Your e.t. has ZERO to do with reaction time. Winning a race is based on getting to the end of he 1/4 mile first. That is equal to your E.T. plus your reaction time. If you're just racing against the clock to get that elusive 12 second time slip though, reaction time is irrelevant.

100% correct, the clock doesn't start till you trip the light. I ran a 12.81 with 180 t-stat, k&n cai (with a hole in it), jet chip stage2 and the .25 cent fan mode. I would advice lowering the tire pressure to 25 and a .25 fan mode (keeps the car cool because the fans stay on). I see your in jersey, I'm planning on going to e-town at the end of the month. If your interested we can meet up there and play with a few settings and see what ya get.

Will

Where do you live. Density Altitude, DA, is everything when you are talking about a NA 12.

Do you have any mods?
