VERY annoying rattle...

Coming from my passenger side rear door. It almost sounds like the roof part above the door is broken, it rattles and screeches so bad I cant handle it anymore. I have an appointment to take it in on Monday, but does anyone know if this is actually covered under the warranty, I have a feeling my dealer will tell me this isnt covered, so I want to go in with all my ducks in a row. BTW, the car only has 3500 miles on it, its been doing this for a while too, and now its just gotten to the point where I cant handle the rattle anymore its that bad.

@ 3500 miles I'd insist it be covered. It's a new car!

You never know I've heard horror stories of rattles turning out to be coke cans in the door frame left there when being built on the assembly line who knows! <~That was when I worked at Ford BTW!

One thing you might want to check real quick before taking it in. I had a rattle in what I thought was that area too. It turned out to be the back of the passenger seat. I had put it down to pass something through to the trunk for one of the few times I had back seat passengers. After I put it back up, it started rattling. A little grease and a forceful closing cured it.

Ya, thats what Ill prob end up telling them if they say its not covered, I mean 3500 miles, the car is like brand new still. And this is in the roof/top of door area, I can actually push on the headliner and have it "creek" REALLY bad. And its VERY annoying. It just makes the car feel so cheap inside, especially when I have people with me and all you hear is the annoying creek/rattling.

Mine rattles on washboard roads, it too sounds like the right side of the dash. Have you fixed yours yet?
