All the warning lights on!!!

Here's the situation:

This morning I drove through 3.5" to 4.5" of standing water at a low rate of speed. After driving to my first destination, about 10 miles, shut the car down for about 15 to 20 minutes. Start the car and begin to drive to my next and final destination less than a mile away. Look down at my guages and every warning light is on temp, oil, brake, battery etc.... I run through the EVIC system and everthing checks out normal and yet all warning lights remain on. Shut down the car check oil level and it is ok. Re-start the car and all of the warning lights or off except the brake since it is engaged.

What's going on?

I'll give an update when I drive back home in an hour or two.

Thanks,
B

I've had the same problem a couple of times, the last about a week ago. I stopped the car, turned it off , started it again and it went away. I have no idea what is going on. If it happens again I will let them know when I go for service the next time.

Also, during one of our last snowstorms, I stopped for coffee and on pulling out of the parking stall my rear back-up sensors activated causing me to hit the binders and almost spilling my coffee. It turns out that the sensors were covered with snow and this caused them to activate. It had me going for a moment.

You’re not alone in this event. Others have reported it. Here are a couple of threads discussing this problem. Gremlins are just no fun! Good luck!

ABS/BAS/ESP light wont go off on 2007 300 Limited

ESP/BAS light on at times?
