New (SRT) Interior is in my 300c---

took about 6 1/2 hours total, but had to do it over 2 days cause it started raining on me Saturday afternoon..

Easy swap, I only ran into one small issue. I have memory seats and the Daytona's don't so the seat wire harness is different, so I had to remove the lower frame from my seats and swap it to the Daytona seats in order to keep the memory feature functional. Other than that everything worked.

I decided not to take the chance that the passenger weight sensors on the Daytona seats were functional, because they are very sensitive and who knows how the seats were handled before they got to me, and since I had to swap the frame on the drivers seats, I did the same on the passenger seat. No codes and the weight sensor seems to be working correctly...

I also Dynomatted the entire interior since I was swapping the carpet... I got 12 rolls of Dyno for $95 (my first job 20 years ago was as a car stereo installer for a mom and pop stereo shop, the shop is still in business so I went and talked to my old boss and got 2 cases(12 rolls) for his cost, also picked up some JL 3 1/2 inch speakers and Eclipse 6X9's for the dash and doors which I will do next weekend I hope).

Since I had the carpet out I figured I might as well run all the wiring for a sound system in case I decide to install a Clean Sweep or something similar..

Here are some pictures:

Seat comparison

now for a little treat, for those wishing to do the GSM ESP/BAS mod, but not wanting to spend $200 for $5.00 worth of parts, then having to push wires thru your firewall:

under the center console, you have this little gem:

Splice a switch into the middle wire and presto you have the ability to completely disable ESP/BAS for about $5.00 and without throwing codes:

This is the same wire that GSM taps under the hood, I traced it back here thanks to something Jaak posted up a while back. the middle wire (purple w/blue strip) is the power wire for the accerelometer.. cut the power and ESP/BAS is completely disabled. DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR IT.

I did it months ago and have never had any issues.....

Wow, that looked to be a little bit of a chore....but with very nice results.

Do you notice the dynomat adding to reduced road noise???
I'm trying to decide if it is really worth it in these vehicles...which to me seem to be pretty quiet and with low road noise stock.

oh hell yeah, there is nothing under the carpet... NOTHING, except that cheapa$$ foam that is attached to the carpet.

I immediately noticed the change on the freeway driving to work today, the tire sound and the road hum was almost gone...

My GF's 2007 Camry was 100% quieter than my 300. Her car is very peaceful when the windows are up, you don't hear anything, and now I feel about 80% the same.

If I had it to do again I would have double layered the Dynomat.

I didn't do my trunk, but am going to in the next few weeks and the doors as well..

yes it makes a HUGE difference....

Also....(from your other thread) try a credit card you wouldn't mind bending up and work it around the mesh screen to pop it up and access the front dash speakers....works best .Looking good though.........nice to keep the sound down that way .

Looks great-- I like the color...

I thought I saw Jimmy Hoffa in there somewhere!!

Why would you want to disable the ESP? To unplug the black box????

the Suede Headrests are actually slip on covers with my TV's in them, so I can slide the covers off and move the TV's to my GF's car in about 30 seconds.
