vibration problem

I have a vibration problem with my awd 300 limited. Steering wheel moves quite a bit at between 45-65 mph, less noticeable at other speeds. Its has been to the dealer 3 times now with this problem. 1st they balanced the tires. Then they balanced and "road forced" the tires. This last time they told me the conti's on it were shot and should be replaced (20k on car, been bad since 13k, no warranty).
So I got 4 new goodyear comfortreads and a 4 wheel alignment - problem is worse than ever.
I see here, and other places, a lot of people talking about balancing the tires. This isn't working.
Anybody else had this problem and actually gotten it resolved? What do I do?

Thanks

Welcome to the forums mpbpulaski and I’m sorry you’re having this vibration with your AWD Limited. I found a thread in which several AWD members complained of the same type thing. Sadly I don’t see that they came to any resolution or if they did they didn’t update their posts to reflect what was finally decided. I personally had a bad vibration in both of my vehicles. One was the result of an out of round tire, which was replaced. The other was poor balancing and alignment. I would certainly hold your dealership to the fire to get it fixed and if not find another dealership. Please keep us updated and good luck!

Did you know? 300c AWD vibration @ 60MPH NORMAL

vibration

I had this issue too...and i tried different tires and rims....but come to find out it was a misfire in the engine.....they replaced a sparkplug and one of my cylnders, and now i ride fine...I was getting the vibration at 45-60 and also higher speeds too...Do a search for my screen name, and I posted the resolution that worked for me....

Thank you for the replys. The link from srt8danno regarding this being "normal" is depressing since apparantly the issue was never resolved and is EXACTLY the issue (and the responses from my dealer) I am having.
I think I am out of luck on the lemon law. I 1st reported the problem at 13k but then let it go thinking the tires would work themselves back straight with multiple rotations. Now I am at 20k and I think the lemon law is till 18k in NY although I am not sure. I do think when this is settled I will try to get reimbursed for my new tires from the dealer at least.

I will mention the spark plug / cylinder to the dealer but I honestly think it is suspension or awd related.
I will definitely post updates as thing progress so maybe someone else can get a quicker resolution.
