Angry My baby was STOLEN..

I gotta vent..

It's a sad day for me. I woke up this morning to find my C gone. I could not believe it. So much for the factory alarm. I thought if the car was started without the factory key it would just die out.. I drove around the area hoping I would find it on the side of a road, but no. I'm so pissed right now.. I don't know what to do at this moment. The only upgrades I had was the corsa and air intake. Any input would be nice.. I know it's not the end of the world, but I'm just ticked off.

are you sure they drove it away , with the sentry key system it should not have ran . Maybe they towed it?? if so the factory alarm would do nothing

I am so sorry to hear about the theft of your 300c! I don't blame you for being angry and beside yourself. This is something I think about in the back of my mind hoping it won't happen to me. But....

Was your C stolen from inside a garage, driveway, carport?? I think the others have made good suggestions...police report, insurance contact. I never purchase extended warranties but with this car, I did purchase Gap Insurance just in case.

Don't beat up on yourself. I think there have been other complaints about the factory alarm system before. What's the point of having that chip in the key if these cars can still be stolen unless they somehow trailered it.

I just hope your insurance will step up in helping to pay off your stolen car. Keep us informed of what happens. Again, I'm sorry for what happened.

It was stolen from my driveway. I'm not sure if they drove it or towed it. There was glass from the passenger side on the pavement. These bastards were slick. If the alarm (horn) went off I would have not heard it. We (San Antonio) had some severe t-storms last night that would have muffled the horn. The first thing I did was call the police to report it. After they gave me the case number I called my insurance. I have to wait 20 days to see if my car comes up. If nothing comes up they will total it. My insurance set me up with a nissan altama (not too sure about the spelling) for the time being. Also, the car is payed off so the gap insurance is not an issue.

I couldn't believe the post when I read it. Sorry to hear about your C. Like you said it's not the end of the world but it's just horrible that people go to these extremes of stealing vehicles. I just wanted to say some kind words to you and hopefully something good will come from this.
