How many times a week do you wash your 300

I have been washing my car like every other day, I might let it go three days max,,, this week I washed it Wednesday and Thursday I was forced to, I had to drive through a nasty mud puddle, (Walls on both sides no way around it) So...I had to wash again last night, My wife says that I am obsessed with the new car....

tell me how many times a week do you guys/gals wash your 300????

i washed mine on wednesday, and yesterday. probably wash it again tomorrow. i'm so thankful for the leaf-blower drying technique that i've read about on the forum and SRTBEE demonstrated last Saturday. but to answer the question, i wash my car at least three times a week (on average every other day).

Leaf Blower drying technique? Is there a thread on that?

Wait what???? Leaf Blower never thought about using that one. . . . Washing your car is a form of relaxation. My GF thinks I do it too much so now she helps me and enjoys the feel of getting into a freshly washed car that you just spent and hour on.

I usually wash mine about every 3-4 days, but I use the quick detail spray on it the days it doesn't get washed.

Mine is always washed at least a minimum of once a week. Now when Love Bug season hits (the scourge of humanity) I will wash my car daily….yes daily! Get the guts off while their fresh.

Here is link where the “leaf blower” technique is discussed by our resident expert on auto detailing.

thanks danno for the thread. i've seen it mentioned many times in the detailing forum when asked about what people use to dry their cars. i used to use a meguiars water magnet and assorted microfiber towels.

i start at the top of the car and blow all the excess water down. before doing the sides of the car, i hit the wheels and tires. i do the hood, trunk lid, then open both and do the engine and trunk. it works great on my chrome grill. the blower helps reduce water spots....which is important as it begins to heat up. i wash her in the shade too.

i don't try to get every bit of water, just the larger amounts. i dry off the remaining water using two microfiber towels.

she's never looked better and it takes 1/3 the time to dry. plus i get an upper body workout holding my gas blower above my head, and at all sorts of weird angles.

I do mine when it's dirty. It rains here every four or five days, so as soon as the rain clears and I know it's not gonna rain for a few days, I clean her up. In between washes, I use a California Duster, and Meguiars Quick Detail Spray if necessary. I hate when my car is dirty!!
