Sirius radio question.......

I got the free year of Sirius radio and it doesnt tell me what each station is. In my dads free 3 months of XM the headunit told him what the station was. Is there any way of telling what the hell im listening too or do i gotta scroll through 200 channels guessing?

Hit the info button. It toggles between channel, name of channel, artist, genre, etc. I think its the info button anyway.

Mine tells me the station number and name plus the artest and title for the song. Have you pressed the mode button so it's on SAT? I have 3 modes CD, SAT and VES (if you have the video option). It also lists the station in the little display in the cluster. I'm not sure which options your car has though so you may want to be a little more specific if this doesn't address your issue.
Good luck.

i have a nav unit display, so i see all the information (station number, station name, artist, song, etc.) i'm guessing you have the non-nav radio display.

It depends on what stereo you have. My 300 Touring has the standard single disk stereo and does not support the on-screen display of artist & title. Just the way it is. My plug & play Sirius receiver has this info and I miss it. If you want that info and want to stay with an OEM stereo you need to upgrade the unit.

At least you have EVIC, which allows the station info to be displayed. On Touring and Base, no EVIC, no station id if you have the REF radio (the one with AUX input on the front).
