They take a picture of the front and back I think. I've been caught before and I dont have the front license plate. Either that or I'm just famous.

I don't do front plates either. 7 years and over 125,000 miles later in CA, never been pulled over or ticketed for it.

From what i remember about my camera light ticket i received in the mail... there is more of a side angled shot that states the time that the light was red when you cross the first white line, a front shot of the face of the driver, and only a rear license plate picture. that was 2 years ago, so i couldnt swear to the fact that theres no front plate shot now, so that they can nail you with that as well to make some more money.

i pitty you guys for having to have that front plate. what a way to ruin the look of a nice car. im in alberta. and we dont have front plates at all. we still have photo radar and red light cameras here, that they seem to function just fine. without the front liscense plates.
