one touch window up doesnt work??

weird problem that just happened out of the blue. the one touch function for the drivers door. works in the down position. but not the up position. and it works fine for both on the front passenger door. i dont know about the rear doors. the windows have never been opened yet. the car only has 2500km on it so far.

anyone got any ideas?? im guessing just a defective switch or relay.

ill proly just bring it to the dealer and get the tranny flash at the same time.

Mine does the same thing once in a while. I believe the problem is that sometimes I just hold it in auto while rolling it all the way up, or down. The dealer said that to turn the auto function all the way on, or off, you just hold it in the up position for 3 seconds. When inadvertantly rolling it up all the way with the button, I think the 3 second time kicks in. Thus shutting it off. I just roll it up again, holding the auto button for 3 seconds again, and it begins working.. ( seems to begin working only after I shut my car off and start it again)..

I think the 3 second "set" function is too short, but you just might try holding it up for 3 seconds ( or more to be safe )... then shut your car off and start it again and it may start working correctly.

I have to remember when rolling it up in auto, to just hit it once and not hold it and it will keep that setting.

try recalibrating the window (instructions are in the manual):

http://www.300cforums.com/forums/381000-post6.html

1) Roll window down and hold switch down all the way for 2 seconds.
2) Raise window and hold switch all the way up for 2 seconds.
3) Test. Auto up/down should now work.

Great question and reply - mine quit working once after taking it to the dealer and I thought they screwed it up, then by magic it started working again sometime later. Now I know why.

This is a familiar problem that most of us have encountered. Luckily we have this place and it’s vast vault of information and helpful members.
