Used Clay bar for first time- pics

After putting a new grill and removing the moldings, I washed and clayed and waxed the car today. I've never used the clar before. It was amazing. I didn't get off every single speck, but damn close.

Windows will be tinted Thursday.

Very nice! What type of clay bar did you use? Was it a pretty easy process? Did you wax it afterwards?

Beautiful job! Your ride looks fantastic. Congratulations on the spit polish deluxe! Clay really does separate the men from the boys on the detailing.

Waxed afterwards. Used Mother's brand Clay. Basically washed and dried the car and then you use the Mother's detail spray to wet a small area and you rub the clay against those little deposits that stick to you paint and they come off (most of it).

My car is an '05 (just bought it off my brother), so there was a lot of caked on crap that didn't come off with the wash, but did with the clay.

I forgot to spray the wheel cleaner on the crome wheels, and it was too late after I waxed it, because I didn;t want to hose down the wheels and get the car wet. Oh well.... next time.

I can't wait to see what the tint will do. 35% legal here.
