Exclamation 23K on the odometer.....Approaching 2 1/2 years of ownership...And a question...

Hello Gang,

Just looking back and thinking...It's been almost 2 1/2 years since I took delivery and became a member of this great forum. I am having an issue with the front passenger side wheel bearing hub assembly. (No, it hasn't fallen off!) I had the car in for the 27 month/27K service interval, and the technician had said that he had noticed some abnormal noise in the front wheel bearing. He and I had come to the conclusion to replace the bearing, before something gets serious. Has anyone here had issues with the front wheel bearings (either side) making noise and had to have them replaced by the dealer? Any TSB's out there for this issue? Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely yours,

Brian T. Carotenuto

Brian, it sounds like the noise was news to you. You were never aware of any noise?

While stranger things have happened, it seem unusual to have a wheel bearing problem with that low mileage.

Well congratulations on your 2.5 years of membership and 23k miles! I hope you have many more miles and years of membership ahead. As for your question I’m not familiar with that problem. I hope you and your service manager have a handle on it and get it fixed ASAP…..we can’t have your wheel flying off or some horrible thing. j/k
