My last Pontiac Bonneville buffeted real bad too, so I am used to dealing with it. Although the C's is worse at lower speeds. If I recall correctly, there is mention of buffeting in the Owners Manual, and how to avoid it.

Hmm..

I didn't know my window's actually opened! (unless I'm ordering a coffee) - I like my tint!! so the windows stay up.

You must not have a large dog that rides around with her head out the window

Windows

Have you guys noticed that if you stick your arm out while the window is going up it will bounce off your arm and go back down. It is a safety feature that prevents little rug rats from getting their heads caught with the window.

I personaly dont like it. I think its a security hazzard. If some stranger its trying to stick their hand in the window and you are trying to put the window up, it will bounce of their arm and go back down. Therefore giving the stranger the advantage to getting at you.

I guess everything has its pros and cons. Personaly I dont like it. My kids wont get their head caught because I dont have any. And my two dogs wont get stuck either because they for sure are not getting near my 300c.

You have to have auto reverse if there is auto up. Even without kids, it could be your SO with an arm or hand getting caught (300 million people in the US, it has happened). Your right foot will work quite well if someone sticks thier head in your car. Good thing we have the safe Euro push /pull switches unlike many GM cars still that have rockers and many kids have been killed with thier foot on the rocker switch with crushed necks.

I read in the manual that you can disable the Window feature. Look it up, if you don't need or want it.

Buffett Fans!!

Wow, I know this is an old thread, but I just "discovered" this buffetting and it was so severe! I slid back my sunshield and saw the sunroof pulsating vigorously at around 70 MPH and thought better than to have it fly off MPH and hit a car behind me! WOW, talk about pressure! Great way to shut up unruly passengers!!

So maybe it's doing this all the time, but you just don't see it with the sun shield closed?

There was a thread or two recently about closed sunroofs actually flying off the car at speed.

I heard of someone losing his rear window from opening his rear side windows on the highway because he thought it was funny. Think it was an import & don't know if theres much credibility to that stroy, just something I remember hearing...
