replacement bulb question

Hey guys. I recently bought some replacement turn signal bulbs for my car. I could have sworn they were 3157 bulbs but sylvania's web site says 3757. I can't find 3757 lights anywhere and I've already got the 3157 bulbs in hand. Will these fit without modifying them at all or what?

Just my .02---but, I'd get the 3757's rather than use the wrong number. Hard to fathom that Auto Zone and Advance don't have them. Have you tried (shudder, shudder) a dealer--Chrysler or Dodge?

I just did all of my looking online. It's strange that sylvania's own website doesn't offer 3757 bulbs. I did find one website that offered PIAA lights in 3157 that said 3757 and 3157 bulbs were interchangable. I guess I'll keep looking rather than burn my car down from putting in the wrong bulb. Although, I could upgrade to an SRT if that happened, Hmmm. Thanks.

Exactly what I was going to say. But they do have them. Here is a link to the replacement guide for sylvania.... http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...RG-Results.htm

im glad i found this thread, cuz im really not sure whats going on. I ordered a set of stealth 3757s from stealthauto, because that is what sylvanias site said. but now i check the manual, and the manual says everything in the rear is 3057. Id have to assume the manual is right, but im confused....

I can only speak for the v6 models here as I don't have a v8 and their light setups are slightly different. The front lights for the v6ers are 3757. Not to worry though. If you get 3157 it's really easy to mod the lights to fit. As Truthkid stated before, the 3157 bulbs have the tabs that don't match up with the 3757 socket on the v6 cars. All you need to do is take a knife and shave the tabs down so that they're smooth and they will click right into the harness. It took me about 2 minutes to cut the tabs off.

i just checked my tail lights, and even though the manual says that its a 3057, the rear signal light (for a C/SRT8) is a 3757, so sylvania is right.

on a side note, that was BY FAR the easiest tail light removal i have ever experienced. i also like the fact that the entire light isnt open to the trunk, just a couple small pass thrus for the wires, so there are minimal places for water to get thru.
