Ethanol anyone setup there car to use it??

Hi,

Well I had to ask, has anyone setup there car to use Ethanol and gas? I am kicking the idea around. I can get Ethanol at San Jose Airport for 2.15 a gal. Would be nice for around town and such and then run gas when out of town and long runs.

Seems like it may work. Thoughts on this one.

Thanks,

Fritz

Nope, not interested. I don't like the idea of 25% worse mileage which negates your savings at the pump with average blends. Not to mention all the extra fuels used to produce it.

I also don't like the idea of emitting more carcinogens. Read up on ethanol and you'll see it's really a political football, not a savior.

The 300C is not an E85 design. Ethanol will corrode its fuel system.

Do it and you'll wish you had not.

Thanks,

I was looking at it. I for sure did not want to harm my child. I am very happy pissing people off here being called a gas hog. I was not ready to pull the trigger on it that is for sure. Just asking what you all thought and now I know. LOL
