Appriciation

Like everyone on the forum,I think it's great when fellow LX'ers compliment me on my car, But today while out crusinin around I thought I'd stop by a Dodge/Chrysler dealer to see about Chrysler trunk wing badge. The parts guy (after explaining what and them needed) asked if he could look at my car (he'd never heard of a Magnum 300c conversion) and made my day with the compliments he paid. Then after finishing up a few errands I stopped by another dealership and whent back and forth from parts to my car and each time there was someone (a sales guy) looking at it and smiling , then a guy from Chrysler corporate office came up and asked so many questions and complimented me on all that had been done I can't discribe what that feels like a guy that sees Magnums and 300c's all year round paying so many compliments It really feels great you know ya did something right when this happens. Anyway as I was leaving the show room floor outside stand ing next to my car is a salesman and young husband and wife cheking out my car, and the wife grinning ear to ear maybe even alittle drool at the corner of her mouth all the while the sales guy pointing the stuff I've done out and makeing a pitch, and to top that off as I'm pulling out the couple turn and check out my car all the while the sales guy is pitching them a Jeep comander, And while I'm trying to get out of the lot there were a few lot guys, sales guys and another middle aged couple with a different salesman (the wife again) start checking out as I drive by grinning and I think OOOing and AAHHHHing the whole time the sales guy pitching them this guy actually was smileing and checking out my car too or maybe it was just my It's not your mommies stationwagon and 0 to groceries in 5.5 seconds stickers in the windows. So I just wanted to let you know days like this are iceing on the modding cake this is what its all about and its even better with no sponserships and thinking and doing it all on your own no offense to anyone.

KEEP ON MODDING EVERYONE!!!!

Excellent post to read! Obviously your hard work and mods has paid off in the form of people taking note of something special. Congratulations on being the “eye candy” of the day for all those people. I’m sure you’ve inspired others to do something nice for their rides.

It must be on another thread, then, and I missed it.

I think Stitch's Maggie got the better end of the deal by picking up the 300 front end. Too bad it wasn't a C front end since his car is the R/T, but it looks very nice anyway. The funny thing about the swap is that the 300 front end makes the Maggie look longer while the Mag front makes the 300 look shorter.

It is a 300 c front end know at the time of the swap I had the c fascia painted but headlights and trim were on backorder
