Help settle this arguement: 300c vs. camry se

I'm having a heated debate with one of my friends. He thinks that his 2007 Camry SE is faster than a C. I really don't know the awnser and we have had a couple of drinks already where we shouldn't be hitting the streets to settle it. Anybody know the awnser to which car is faster?

268hp 3.5l FWD... even though we a little less than a thousand lbs on it, I'm seriously doubting it's quicker.

With my 5.7 C, I have had a few of the SE's take me on. None have beat me - or even come all that close.

Tell your friend to put up or shut up! Line em' up and let em' burn! I am confident he won't be talking at the finish. Well maybe some excuses!!!

The 300C has waaayyy more torque than the Camry and pulls much better off the line. Once the revs build in the Camry, it actually pulls quite well all the way to redline. Credit the C's pushrod engine for the jump versus the Camry's multi-cam 24 valve modular setup. If you guys were to race from 60-80, the race would be much closer, but the C would still win due to the horsepower advantage, even though it suffers a weight and drag penalty.

Just make sure if you do this, to do it either A. on a drag strip, or B. On a really, really wide street. That is, unless you like being side-swiped.

Dem der torque steer's a bitch. LOL.
