Random crazy: What would auto-leveling HIDs (euro) cost?

Knowing that the complete HID setup for a 300c is $1600 per light (IIRC?) how much does the *euro* set run o_O

I have a feeling the number is completely ridiculous, but dang!

The strange thing about the Chrysler's HID lights is that they are not self-leveling in the US. I'm not sure how Chrysler got away with that one. All factory HID lights in the US are supposed to be self-leveling, so as not to temporarily blind oncoming drivers over small dips in the road or upon hard acceleration. I think Chrysler is the only manufacturer that sells cars in the US without that feature as standard.

In the 300c europe models..self-leveling HID is standard and i thought the self-leveling was obligated by law.

In the US, I don't believe the law applies, most manufacturers just make the same headlights (aside from RHD vs LHD) to make it simpler. OTOH this is a company we're talking about that makes about 30 different types of mirror, and you get what I'm saying, lol.
