won my first bracket race

today was street wars day at the local strip. Lancaster Dragway in Lancaster, New York, just east of Buffalo. It was 87 degrees this afternoon with low humidity prob like 31% or close to it.

most cars there were either test and tune or complete stockers just out having a good time. I had about 6 time trials car ran super consistant. the car ran 9.0something every time (1/8th mile track, with a 75 shot of juice )

so i dialed in a 9.0 flat twelve cars in my bracket ets were 9.0233, 9.0349, and so on till the semis when i went a 9.0088 that race was heads up with a late a 80s somtheing camero i cut a .6080 light too, the other guy brokeout at a 8.9219 on a 9.0 dial and a .7067 light, so i am pretty sure i would have had him any ways but ya never know.

the last race was against another 80 something camero with a 10.14 dial on it. the dude broke out witha 9.8280, but i broke out too but with a 8.9219 so iwon cause i was closer to my dial. that last run was my best of the day prob cause there was soooo much rubber down by then, but here are the numbers
reaction .7032
60 ft 2.1672
330ft 5.8840
et@594ft 8.3670
et @ 1/8 8.9219
mph 81.09

oh i got 2 trophies 1 for bracket winner, and 1 for get this fastest hemi of the day

how would those transfer to 1/4 mile times someone at the track said to add about 4 seconds on for a 1/4 mile time, but i have no clue. also anyone have any idea what kinda gains from this the 100 shot would give me, i promised my self i would never use the 100 or 125 shot in the kit cause i want no breaky breaky lol. but even running the 75 i know there is a chance to break but dam the nitrous is addictive

Congratulations on your first victory! That sure beats the hell out of having your car used as furniture any day!

Nice avatar btw…..and do you think my local DQ will serve me some of that tasty sounding peppermint nipple blizzard?

Well done!
