I was at my dealer yesterday and finally saw our Europe version of 2008 Chrysler 300. Want to say that I liked interior modifications very much: LEDs in doors and cup holders, wood up on the glove box and on cup holders, leather arm rests and center arm rest. All these things make you feel of the new interior as much more cosy then 2007. This is all very nice, but I didn't like the gear shift leaver that has no wood any more just leather. It became ugly.
Although I liked new interior a lot but I didn't like tail lamps very much! Europe are from Touring model and not from 300C as I thought they would be. They are the worst of all 2008 tail lamps (with round reverse cut-outs).
Our Europe models have also new five spoked (like star) 18 rims which are also much worse then 2007 ones. These rims are only Europe as I have never seen such on any website.
Also I didn't like the silly antenna on the rear of the hood. I thought it is used only by MyGig unit for better signal. But that car had only DVD/CD MP3 player. If they have replaced the antenna mounted in the rear glass by this one then it also looks much worse and I see no sense of it.

They basically flipped the tail lights in the US - the V8 models get the old V6 style lights (albeit fancier), and the V6 models get the old V8 style lights (albeit slightly restyled).

In europe, you get the V6 style lights because regulations require yellow turn signals over there. Personally, I'm not sure why they don't do that here as well, because I have it when I think someone has their turn signal on but they've only got a burnt out brakelight and they're hitting the brakes.

I have just got my 2008 300C Touring - as replacement for the 2007 model.
Interior is nice. Bit of padding in door armrest is more comfortable. Fake wood is cheap. LEDs in cupholders are surprisingly nice and useful. Otherwise much the same. Sound system is very good with the Hard-drive etc. and that and the Sat-nav, with touch-screen operation are easy to use; if a little complex. Perhaps it tries to do too much. Sat-Nav not working properly. At the moment when a voice instruction is meant to be given the music turns up (instead of down) and the instruction cannot be heard. Not very useful.
On another matter - a different thread mentioned the 'Fuse 11' thing for re-setting the ECU memory. This car has different fuse configeration - anybody know which fuse it is in the 2008 model ? Oh, And - admittedly I have, so far, only done 700 miles but yesterday on a fairly easy motorway cruise, the fuel consumption was down 10mpg on the previous one - IT CAN ONLY GET BETTER!
