2008 300 Exterior:
The instrument panel, gauge cluster, center console, door trim panel, and map pockets all look exactly the same to me except that the doors now come in a single color instead of 2 tone. Yes, the shifter console looks to be all new, but I prefer the closable hidden cup holders over the new open style. If the car really does have new softer materials, especially on the arm rests, this is something that has been needed since the beginning and is a welcome change. But there doesn't appear to be any changes that would stop me from getting a better deal on an outgoing '07 than a mildly revised '08. I guess the new MyGig and touchscreen nav will probably be pretty nice though.

I was expecting some major changes, but it looks to mostly be more of the same.

Well, guess it kinds of helps that changes have been this minor, since I have been having troublesome issues with my '05 C I have decided to go Lexus or Infiniti the next go around, and know I won't be dissappointed I didn't go 300 again (which I have decided NOT to do again).

When I said center consule, I meant the armrest, gear shift area. The dash, steering wheel and doors are different. While the general shape is the same, the actual dimensions of the dash are different. Go look at an 08 mags interior. The new 300 interior looks just like it with a few bells and whistles. The steering wheel ring comes out farther from the hub. Look a little more closely and put on your glasses. You don't know these cars as well as you think you do.
Look....the same minus the shape over the guages and a few bells and whistles...what do you know...badge engineering at its finest.

They stole my chrome dash strip idea!

http://www.300cforums.com/forums/ext...ighlight=strip

I am really disappointed in the new interior.

I was hoping for a more radical change.

I had my glasses on when I looked. They correct my vision to 20/15. I was not drunk or high and I am in a sound state of mind. In fact, I printed the picture and took it out to my car to look for the differences. The only difference I see is in the gear shifter/center armrest console. There are absolutely no differences in the dash, center console, steering wheel, or doors, other than the monotone coloring and the crappy little piece of dash trim on the passenger side. It's possible that Chrysler changed the style of the gauges, but it's impossible to tell from that picture. And there are absolutely no differences in the dimensions of the dash from the current model. Maybe you have a very astute eye for detail. Or maybe you need to put on your glasses. Would you please point out where the differences are in the dash, center console(not the shifter console), steering wheel, and doors? And please don't post any more pictures of Magnum/Charger interiors. Everybody knows that Charger/Mag interiors are different from 300 interiors except for the shifter console. Or perhaps you've never seen a Charger/Mag interior and don't know that they are indeed very different from the 300.
