Doesn't look like the rear headrests are adjustable unlike the 300 produced for China.

Also looks like the cruise control has been reconfigured.

Round door handle scoops as well as opposed to the more rectangular ones in our current model.

I prefer our current instruement cluster though.

Yeah, I thought it would be more of a significant change too, not that I am disappointed other than shutting up the Aussie motoring journos who have criticised the current 300C interior.

You are confused. You are looking at the posted picture of the Magnum interior, not the 300. Look at the Ram on the steering wheel. And for the record, it doesn't look like the Charger/Magnum interior has changed much either from it's current design other than the gear shifter console. The new 300 interior is in the very 1st post. Maybe they have changed the cruise control though. I'm assuming that if they did this in the Mag/Charger, they are probably also doing it for the 300. And I will guarantee you that the rear head rests will be adjustable in the new 300.

There are absolutely no differences in the dash, center console, steering wheel, or doors, other than the monotone coloring and the crappy little piece of dash trim on the passenger side. It's possible that Chrysler changed the style of the gauges, but it's impossible to tell from that picture. And there are absolutely no differences in the dimensions of the dash from the current model. Maybe you have a very astute eye for detail. Or maybe you need to put on your glasses. Would you please point out where the differences are in the dash, center console(not the shifter console), steering wheel, and doors? And please don't post any more pictures of Magnum/Charger interiors. Everybody knows that Charger/Mag interiors are different from 300 interiors except for the shifter console. Or perhaps you've never seen a Charger/Mag interior and don't know that they are indeed very different from the 300.
Number one. I am member number 50, thats right son 50. I know 100x more about these cars, meaning all the lx's, than you do, so show some respect. As you being the genius you are pointed out, the mag and charger had different interiors, prior to the 08 refresh. While they are still different, they are no longer completely different. As you can see from the picture, they are no longer that much different. Look closely at the dashboard, mainly the lower part where the center consule attaches to the center stack. In the current 300, it is slimmer and matches. In the new one, it is significantly wider, and it also still matches. I do have a very astute eye for details. On the first glance, like you, I didn't notice much. But, on my second glance, I noticed more....the 22 inch monitor may help with that. Look at the door in the picture posted of the OLD 300C interior. The chrome strip continues across the door and onto the handle with not breaks. On the NEW 300 interior, the chrome has a break betweent the door and door handle, just like on the magnum. Look at the doors closely and you will see they are almost identical, 08 mag to 08 300. Now look at the dash closely. While the section over the gauges is different on the 300, the overall dash is almost identical, down to the chrome(on the mag)/wood(on the 300) dash.

Whoa guys relax. Let's wait for the full size pictures before we go all nuts over the minor changes.

Ohhhhhh....please allow me to bow to the master ...#50.... WOOOWWW!!! So you know 100x more than me about the LX line because you've been on this board about 21 months longer than I have. You forgot to point out that you've made about 200 more posts than I have in with that extra 21 months. In my book, that doesn't mean jack. You know what? I doubt it means anything to anybody else either. The fact that you make such a claim shows your true intelligence, or lack thereof. And for the record, you are the one calling me a genius. I never made that claim, but if you believe it to be true, that's perfectly fine with me. And the fact that you are calling ME son, I guess I have to assume that you are well over 60. And if that's the case, I'd say that you are probably senile, because you can't figure out or see the obvious. So what if the piece of chrome on the door is maybe 1 inch shorter. Does this mean that it is an all new door as you claim? I love your astute eye for detail, especially based on a crappy photo of a cutout. I'm willing to bet you $100 that the center console (the part where the radio is housed) will be the exact same width as the 07 model, as will the shape and size of the gauge hood and gauges. You are making a lot of assumptions in assuming that the dash design of the 300 will be the same as the Charger/Mag. You would be wrong. Other than the shifter console, the only real noticable difference with the 08 Mag/Charger compared to the 07 is the shortening of the gauge hood, to make it look somewhat similar to the 300. The doors, gauges, and center console (again, where the radio is) appear to be unchanged (other than maybe a minor trim piece or two) and of the exact same dimensions. The doors in the Charger/Mag and 300 were very similar in the 05-07 models other than the rounded speaker and door handle areas in the Mag/Charger, and these details appear to be carrying over almost unchanged in both cars. But this thread wasn't about the Mag/Charger changes, it's about changes to the 300 interior. And I stand 100% behind these and my earlier comments. And if you would like to make the wager I proposed, just let me know. I know many members here on a personal basis who I'm sure would back me with my bet, including some that have been here almost as long as you have.

Ralph Gilles promised a "significant improvement" to the interior.
Chrysler 300 to receive interior refresh? - Autoblog
This change is not significant. What a failure. So when is the next change due? 2010?

I hate the cup holders. Looks so cheap.

While I am usually a fan of third brake lights on the trunk, this one looks boring like the Charger. They should have made the third brake light about a foot longer than it is. The spoiler/third brake light looks like every other car, so thumbs down. The SRT8 type spoiler is better.

The chrome strip around the center console is ripe for scratches. Not a good idea. Also doesn't improve the looks IMO. At a minimum they should have made it look similar to the dash chrome strip, not as wide and two tone/color.

I liked the old two tone interior, black on grey. The all black looks too dark.

The silver shifter is not classy enough and is boring.

They should have done something with the dash side air vents. The interior is too black and some accent on the vents might have livened up the interior.

I like the chrome strip across the dash, although it is hard to see clearly.

OK, I am done bitching.
