Please keep the discussion on the 2008 300C interior changes, instead of the personal stuff. Don't care who started it or why, just please keep this on track.

Thanks for understanding.

Back to the discussion. The doors are different. As said in my previous post, the chrome, or brushed, door strips are shorter. They are the exact length of the new magnum interior's strips. They are using the same pieces and the doors are a new mold. The center stack is also BRAND NEW as it houses the BRAND NEW my gig navigation, which is wider than the previous model, and new hvac controls. I understand many not noticing the changes because they kept the interior looking the same, and just refined it more. I like the new interior more than the outgoing interior, but also wished for a way nicer interior along the lines of the recent nassau concept. I assume, or hope, we will see this with the new LY in 2010.

The new trunk is fugly. The spoiler looks like that huge VIP aftermarket one people seem to be getting lately, lol.

Totally not a fan of it. The interior is nice, however.

I know I'll be keeping an eye on junkyards for wrecked 08s for that console and rear deck.

As long as you believe that to be true, I guess that's all that matters. So I guess you don't wanna take my bet, huh?

Maybe if you lived down the block, but Illinois...never gonna happen. I do think it will be a new piece, maybe the same dimensions width wise, but a brand new mold for the dash. We will see once an actual clear picture shows up. Until then......

i dont give a darn. im gonna make it happen! watch and see..

the funny thing is that, i took some fabricating lessons on youtube and i have been 'practicing' on stuff in my garage. im getting pretty good. i can lay fiberglass, carbon fiber, make rubber/acrylic molds, etc.

so im gonna make it happen, cant be that hard.
