About to tint my tails......

Any advice would be appreciated. What kind of sandpaper did you use if any? Did you sand the tails before any tint was applied? Sand in between coats? No sanding at all.

Thanks

Well now im pissed. The paint chipped off one of the corners on the taillight when i was sanding it. Im so pissed. They came out good except for that spot. Also the finish is a dull black. Guess i grabbed the wrong finish (matte instead of glossy). Now im just ordering new tails online. So pissed right now

Are you using paint? I think you are suppose to use VHT. Any way if you look at MOBBOSS post today (tinted tails What?) there is a reply with a link that is a DIY to tint tails, just read it good info. Hope it helps.

If it makes you fell any better, I paid over 300.00 to have my done by 402 motoring only have a little white mark on one of the tail lights. The only thing I did right was not exchange my tail lights, so I have my original ones. I will be doing it myself when I have time.

You know the saying " if want something done right do it yourself.."
