Rain sensing Wipers?

I was wondering if anyone could explain to me how you know if you have rain sensing wipers, and if you have them how to turn them on? I feel like an idiot for asking this, but I bought the car used and the dealer told me it had the rain sensing wipers and I can't figure out how to turn them on. Thanks for any help

look on the outside of your wind sheild and see if there is a square like solar panel directly behind your rearview mirror, if you do then set your wiper switch all the way towards you(sittting in the drivers seat) and then turn forward one click..

Waste of time as far as I'm concerned. I don't think anyone even uses them. The wipers seem to go on by themselves when use your turn signal anyway. Most just turn the feature off.

If you ever have to have your windshield replaced, DON'T try to remove it either. The new windshield must come with one embedded in it.

Wow, we use ours often (if we ever get rain). You can vary the sensitivity of them by turning the control closer to always on. Just off "off" causes them to ignore little droplets. Closer to "on" will make them come on quicker.

I'm not saying it's a bad feature, but they're notorious for coming on whenever you use the turn signal, that's all. It's been well documented here.

Really? Never heard of this before and in just on two years of driving my C have never once had the wipers come on whilst indicating. Must be lucky!

I've never had the problem either and I love the wipers. The only time I move the setting from auto is when I washing the car with the stereo on.
