Smile inferno 300 owners... wanna trade?

Noticed there were quite a few inferno red heritage owners on the site now. Curious to know if any of them were interested or thought about swapping front ends of their 300 with a maggie rt? If so, let me know, as I am still on the look out for that one person who wants to help me out. Thanks folks!

In case you've never seen one, here is a pic of a 300 with mag front..

I answered this way over at LXF... Love the idea of putting the 300C front on the Mag bod, ala European Touring version. But I don't care at all for the look of the Mag front on the sedan... just doesn't do anything for me... even though that's the MSRT8 front end vs. the Mag R/T front end.

So... I would never consider such a swap. But... someone might and it certainly is creative to look for a swap. I just think it would ruin the chrome accent theme on the Heritage Editions...

I bought my '07 Heritage Edition because it was built to honor the "Beautiful Brute" which was what they called the ORIGINAL Chrysler 300C of 1957. I consider this 2007 car as something very special just the way it is. I would never destroy its factory-built heritage by substituting the front end from another car.

Besides that, I don't like the look of the Magnum front end on the 300 either.

Thumbs up

No guts no glory, gang.

Here's a great opportunity to own a handsome, unique, automobile.

For the performance enthusiasts among you, the Magnum's front fascia allows more air into the lower front center area, where add-on oil & tranny coolers typically reside.

I understand your reponse as well as others, and also appreciate them, that you have all posted on here as well as on LXF. Like everyone says though, to each his own. I also understand that some do not like the front end of the maggie, others do. Once again, it is just a matter of finding that right person if there is one out there that wants to save some money and do a swap.
I hope you didn't find my request offensive in nature, as it seemed like I did upset you, which I by no means meant to do. Just throwing an idea out there to see what kind of reponses I received.
And the only reason I even asked for a heritage edition is because I was given some information (maybe not correct) that the only inferno red 300's are on the heritage models.

You don;t need a heritage edition. Inferno red is a normal color on 07 300c's and srt8's.

That is great news to hear, thanks. Like I said may have gotten some bad info. SO, I guess this request for trade goes out to all inferno red 300 owners then. Maybe that'll spark a little more interest. Thanks again!

The H.E. was the only IR 300C available in 2006, but in 2007 it became a "regular" color on mainstream 300s. However, the grille will be different. The H.E.'s grille is totally chrome-clad whereas the stock 300C's grille is a gray/silver plastic with a chrome-clad bead on the front "bump."

Attached are some examples... The Blue is a regular "C" grille. The Inferno Red is our Heritage Edition grille.

Thanks for the pics and the explanation. My biggest point is saving the money on the expensive stuff, fenders, paint, hood, etc. I can worry about the little stuff later.

I was also thinking that if people don't like the grille on the front of the maggie, but are still interested in the swap, maybe we can work something out where as I can buy them a new grille for the maggie for helping me out. Also goofing around with PS to see if a possible 2 tone could be in order if there is a black one out there interested as well. I'll post pics when I am finished.

**edit** maybe something like this???

or

My PS skills have dwindled, but you get the jist.

Thanks again.
