The Today Someone Told Me My Car Was Fantasic Thread

I looked at the 300c for around 6 months before I actually bought and I would never have believed how many people would stop to talk to me about it.
This week:
Monday - I was parked a shopping centre waiting for my daughter and I noticed someone staring at my car. Eventually he drove off and then came back and parked next to me signalling me to wind down the window. He told he had a SRT and wanted to look in side mine and we spoke for about 15 mintues:
Tuesday - A truck driver came in to work and asked me if it was my car parked outside and asked if he could have a look at it. He ended up looking at the engine and then sitting in it. That was another 20 minutes.
Wednesday - Outside a customers place when someone there asked me if that was my car. Another 5 minutes.
Thursday - I came out of the pub and when I got into my car I noticed someone in the car next to me signalling me to wind down the window and told me was a fantastic car I had.
Friday - still to come.

I am still amazed by the amount of people who are facinated with my car!
As my car ain't a lot different to that of any of the forum members I would be sure you all would be getting similar experiences of strangers praising your ride.
With that in mind I thought we might cherish these moments and post these experiences in this thread.
So here is The Today Someone Told Me My Car Was Fantastic Thread!

Please share those moment with us.

If my experience is anything to go with then this might well become THE LONGEST THREAD!

regards Michaelr

I definitely don't have the same experience as you. About the only time I hear people commenting about my SRT-8 is when I fill up at Costco, sometimes the attendants will comment and ask if my car has a HEMI, and at car shows where my car is usually the only 300C SRT-8 at the show. Most guys have the 5.7 at those shows. I'm sure the 300 is pretty rare where you live and that's why people are so curious. In my area, the 300 is pretty much a dime a dozen.

While 300's are fairly common here, the C is less so.With the 22's that I've got, I often have admirers hanging from their passing car(because I'm stopped) giving me the thumbs up!

Since I got my car back in March, the comments from strangers that I remember are:

- At least 3 different people at the dealership commenting about how people had been checking out my car all day when I had it in for service.

- Two different guys at gas stations asking about it (both were wondering if it was an SRT8, though )

- The lady at the Starbucks drive-through

I've also gotten lots of nice compliments from friends and co-workers.

Hopefully more will come once I get some more exterior mods done.

A neighbor stopped and looked at my 300C shortly after I brought it home. Two days later, he pulled into my driveway with a 300C. He said, after I saw yours,I just had to get one.

I've had a lot of compliments on my 300C but I did have one real insult. I had to go out to a construction site to do an inspection and the boss told his foreman to look out for me and I that I drove a "Buick". Ouch. At least the foreman knew it weren't no Buick.

I am probably in the same boat...not too many comments from strangers. My friends all say they love it.

The comments I do get from strangers are usually the HOW MANY MILES TO A GALLON I GET???? LOL
