Cool Vanilla SRT8?

Just wondering....I just got my SRT8 like 3 weeks ago and have some really jealous friends. I got a buddy saying he ordered a 2007 300C SRT8 in Cool Vanilla and will have it in a couple days. I think the SRT8's don't come in Cool Vanilla. I could be wrong. I didn't say anything to him, just "congrats" and "we gotta hit up some cruise nights". So what I mean is: does the SRT8 have a Cool Vanilla or is he possibly getting an SRT Design Group or maybe I'm just freaked cuz I wanna stay being the only kid with the SRT8 300 in my entourage? Thanks, just curious!

Nope, he's wrong. The SRT8 only comes in 4 colours and CV ain't one of them.The only colours it comes in are:

• Brilliant Black Crystal Pearl Coat
• Inferno Red Chrystal Pearl Coat
• Bright Silver Metallic Clear Coat
• Steel Blue Metallic Clear Coat

Cool Van is defin NOT avail for SRT8
I even asked the dealer if the factory would special paint one for extra money (as Audi allows).
They inquired, NOT possible.

Your friend must be gettin an SRTDG or maybe just a C

I'm betting on the DG. Actually I don't think you can even order an 07 now anyway can you???

Yeah I didn't think so. I think it's off a lot. He's probably just BSing me. Oh well. If he's getting a 300 of any kind, he's a lucky kid. The car is great no matter which model he gets!

I remember when the SRT8 only came in black or silver...wish they would add the cool vanilla though.

The only colors for the SRT design group is:
Steel blue
Inferno red
Bright Silver
Brilliant black

NO COOL VANILLA
Go to chryslers website and build you own and it will show you the colors available

He is just jealous as you stated. There are alot of people out there that
HAVE to have something bigger/better/brighter/more expensive than you
get. They hate it when someone else is getting any attention, and the
attention is now NOT on them.

When I first got my 2005 300C two years ago, there were not that many
around yet, and to have a HEMI was a big deal.

I brought the car to work, and my friends came out to ohh and ahh over
it, like we do for anyone who gets a new car. It makes people feel good,
and we are NOT a bunch of jealous people. We just like seeing new cars!

Anyway, there was this one girl who leased a newer BMW 3 series about
a month before I got my car.

Once the attention turned to my car, she was obvioulsy annoyed that she
no longer got the attention. But the funniest part was that when we were
all talking about my cars engine, she said, and I quote, "Well my bimmer has
a bigger Hemi than your car".

We all laughed at her, and told her that BMW does not have a Hemi, and
her car was NOT now, nor will it ever be a Hemi.

She just kept saying that her car DID have a Hemi, and that hers was better
than mine.

So, we asked her to show us the engine, and lets see the "Hemi".

Guess what? She refused, but kept it up anyway. We just let her go on
because it was obvious that not only did she not know what she was talking
about, but that the green eyed monster was there, and she wanted nothing
else but to have the attention back on her. So we stopped talking to her.

There will always be someone who thinks they are better than you, or
smarter than you, or have a bigger house than you, or a nicer car ect...

Just let your friend go on saying he is getting his Cool Vanilla SRT-8. I bet
you will hear all the excuses in the book as to why he does not have it
yet, like "Oh, the sales man screwed up the order", or "They tell me its going
to take 3 more months to build it", or the old "We have to wait for the
financing to come thru".

Yes the SRT doesn't come in that color, but if it doesn't it has to be a special order...
