Unhappy Thanks For The Help-case Closed! Part Found!

Hey, I put a first aid kit under my front drivers seat and while sweeping the car I put the seat all the way up and frade the Power Seat Motor cable. Then my boyfriend fixed it (he can fix anything) and being the BLONDE that I am I lost the rubber thingy that goes over the cable at the motor. Now there is a bit of a rattle sound when I adjust the seat. DOES ANYONE KNOW IF OR WHERE I CAN GET THAT RUBBER PIECE? I hate that I've lost it, because he could have put it back on after the adheasive dried.

Thanks all,
Blondie... by bottle.....LOL!!

You have to buy a complete new cable. There is not a part listed for the rubber piece. There are a few different cables under there, so it will be hard to pinpoint which one without seeing it.

It is the cable that goes across the bottom and hooks into a cylinder type motor. There is a rubber cap like thing that the cable sets in and it butts up to the moter, I think it is to hush the vibration of the action of the rotation of the cable end, so it dosen't hit the motor bracket. Thanks.

Glad to hear you found your missing rubber. Now you can get your boyfriend to put it back on.
