trunk handle relocation

hi, i have a 2007 300 which has the trunk handle on the right side underneath the trunk

i was wondering how i can get it off so i can relocated it to the left side of the trunk. the hole is there, i just cant get the plastic handle off for the relocation process

Why not just buy a new handle and install it on the left side?

It might be shaped differently on the left side perhaps. GoofyTim has a thread on where he installed the holder 'cup', which might give you a clue on how to take it out.
How-To: Trunk-pull Handle install for '05 and early '06 300C's
The alternative is to buy a holder strap (from LH cars) from one of our Chrysler dealer sponsors, but again not sure if there is a hole to attach it to for lefties.

hey its ony $6.50 for the new cup. ill just buy a new one, it seems like both sides are a bit differently shaped
