hahahaha, it sure looks that way. I'm not a big fan of the spoiler. I guess you could get an '08 for the interior and then find a used '07 trunk somwhere. I still think you could use the '08 center console on the older models.

Other than that monochromatic leather color and one piece rear spoiler/trunk, there's nothing I like on the new car better than mine. Sweet, nonetheless but not enough to make me trade.

New interior = Thumbs up, I want that center console bad.

New exterior = big thumbs down. The trunk is ugly and the antenna is laaaame.

PS: There's actually quite a few interior changes, now that I look at it:

1. The door panels are completely different - the handle is (sadly) no longer next to the chrome strip, but whatever. The lower parts are completely different as well (both in front, and back, from what I can tell)

2. The front seatbacks look like they've been made a little less puffy to make for more (who needs it?!) legroom

3. The gauge cluster appears to have a metal face now (omg omg if only)

4. The shifter doesn't have tortoise shell

5. the headliner is *gasp* grey and not light greystone

6. maybe it's me, but either the wheel is thicker or the wood/tortoise part is smaller

I want someone to make a California walnut and chrome molding for my 07 passenger side trim. Maybe th 08 will fir somehow, but the wood looks different.
I'm glad the changes are so small my car will look "new" for a few more years.

The negatives outweight the positives.

Negatives
Antenna - dumb and dumber.

Exposed cup holders - Cheap looking and ugly.
This has got to be the worse change of all.

The chrome shifter housing looks too narrow,
and is no longer rectangular. Looks cheap and
out of place, and the odd shape of the shifter housing
does not flow well.

The black shifter gear indicator is way over sized.

The Floor center console transition to the instrument panel
looks abrupt and does not flow well.

The old C tortoise shift knob looks a lot better.

All black interior is not good.

Trunk spoiler does not look upscale, and the third brake light is too short in length.

Positives -
Wood trim really looks nice. Although the dash strip looks like an after thought and sorta slapped-on at the last minute. Maybe adding another strip on the driver side would have helped.

Man, I am really bummed.

I agree. The stealth cupholders is one of my favorite features.

In fact, I wish that my rear cupholders had covers also.

The interior looks good, although I wish the shifter still had the wood on it. I hate the antenna, but love the trunk, minus the third brake light....that can be fixed with some paint.
